Who were the Lapsi?

To Christians who identify with the persecuted saints of the ancient Church, there is only one name more odious than the name Lapsi: that name is Judas Iscariot. The Lapsi were the Christians who in the midst of the persecution of the ancient church “lapsed” back into the pagan culture of the Roman Empire and bowed before Caesar as if to God, burned incense to Caesar as if to God.

The Lapsi were thrust into the historical record when the Roman Empire outlawed the Christian religion and forced everyone in the Empire to prove they were not Christian by proclaiming Caesar to be God or by offering sacrifice on the altar of Caesar.

According to The Original Catholic Encyclopedia, "There were various classes of lapsi, according to the act by which they fell: (I) sacrificati, those who had actually offered a sacrifice to idols; (2) thurificati, those who had burnt incense on the altar before the statues of the gods; (3) libellatici, those who had drawn up an attestation (libellus), or had, by bribing the authorities, caused such certificates to be drawn up for them, representing them as having offered sacrifice, without, however, having actually done so...Some Christians were allowed to present a written declaration to the authorities to the effect that they had offered the prescribed sacrifices to the gods, and asked for a certificate of this act (libellum tradere): this certificate was delivered by the authorities, and the petitioners received back the attestation (libellum accipere). Those who had actually sacrificed (the sacrificati and the thurificati) also received a certificate of having done so. The libellatici, in the narrow sense of the word, were those who obtained certificates without having actually sacrificed. Some of the libellatici, who forwarded to the authorities documents drawn up concerning their real or alleged sacrifices and bearing their signatures, were also called acta facientes"

During three distinct periods of persecution, a series of Caesars worked to force Christians to abandon the Lord Jesus Christ. Over and over, Christians and Christianity was vilified. The Christian religion was proclaimed “strana et illicita - strange and unlawful” (Senatorial decree of the year 35);“exitialis - deadly”(Tacitus); “prava et immodica - wicked and unbridled” (Plinius); “nova et malefica - new and harmful” (Svetonius); “tenebrosa et lucifuga - mysterious
and opposed to light” (from “Octavius” by M i n u c i u s ) ;“detestabilis- hateful” (Tacitus); therefore it was outlawed and persecuted. For three centuries, even when persecution waned, Christianity was considered the most dangerous enemy of the power of Rome, which was based upon the ancient national religion and on the emperor’s worship.

In such an environment of lethal persecutions, Christians found many ways to rationalize giving to Caesar the things that belonged rightfully to the Lord Jesus Christ. It is easy to understand why the Christians lapsed. The woodcutting shown below was taken from Foxe’s Book of Martyrs. Notice the female is naked: such humiliation was the rule in the Roman Empire. And the woodcutting was not an excercise in hyperbole. The terrible white gleaming teeth of beasts ripped into the flesh of Christians by the untold thousands all across the Roman Empire from Jerusalem to Rome itself. And it was not just beasts that terrorized Christians. Imagine your most dreadful nightmare scenario in which the unlimited power of State government was free to inflict any punishment that might make you a cautionary tale designed to deter others from being like you. Your worst nightmare was literally apt to have been the reality experienced by Christians in the ancient Roman Empire.

Eusebius, the most prolific Christian historian of the ancient Church lived through the Great Persecution. He states that many Christians were tortured horribly,having tongues and eyes cut out, bodies crushed, and feet chopped off. They were strangled, hanged, and burned with molten lead or red-hot irons. Often, they were flogged over every part of their body before being put to death. Eusebius catalogued in detail the stories of several martyrs. There is the record of the youth Apphianus who in front of a large crowd interrupted the Governor and boldly proclaimed his faith.

Eusebius writes, “Thereupon, he…was torn by the governor and those who were with him as if by wild beasts. And having endured manfully innumerable blows over his entire body, he was straightway cast into prison. There he was stretched by the tormentor with both his feet in the stocks for a night and a day; and the next day he was brought before the judge. As they endeavored to force him to surrender, he exhibited all constancy under suffering and terrible tortures. His sides were torn, not once, or twice, but many times, to the bones and the very bowels; and he received so many blows on his face and neck that those who for a long time had been well acquainted with him could not recognize his swollen face. But as he would not yield under this treatment, the torturers, as commanded, covered his feet with linen cloths soaked in oil and set them on fire. No word can describe the agonies which the blessed one endured from this. For the fire consumed his flesh and penetrated to his bones, so that the humors of his body were melted and oozed out and dropped down like wax. But as he was not subdued by this, his adversaries being defeated and unable to comprehend his superhuman constancy, cast him again into prison. A third time he was brought before the judge; and having witnessed the same profession, being half dead, he was finally thrown into the depths of the sea. ..But what happened immediately after this will scarcely be believed by those who did not see it. Although we realize this, yet we must record the event, of which to speak plainly, all the inhabitants of Caesarea were witnesses…For as soon as they had cast this truly sacred and thrice blessed youth into the fathomless depths of the sea, an uncommon commotion and disturbance agitated the sea and all the shore about it, so that the land and the entire city were shaken by it. And at the same time with this wonderful and sudden perturbation, the sea threw out before the gates of the city the body of the divine martyr, as if unable to endure it. “

But such valor and faith was not exhibited by all Christians.

Eusebius explained, “…no little confusion arose among all, and they scattered here and there, endeavoring in some way to escape the danger; and there was great commotion everywhere.”

Rather than be martyred or be forced to go underground, Christians all across the Roman Empire surrendered their sacred texts to the Roman authorities; they made sacrifices on pagan altars; they called Ceasar Lord; they cursed the Lord Jesus Christ. Whatever it took to escape the vicious punishment inflicted on the confessing Christian, that is what the Lapsi did.

FF Bruce, the Christian scholar, explains why ancient Christians lapsed, “The temptation must at times have been strong for Christians to compromise just a little, to avoid giving their pagan neighbours the impression that they did not appreciate the blessings of peace and prosperity which the institution of the empire had brought to that part of the world… they might easily prove their loyalty to the empire by worshipping the state gods, and in particular by burning incense to the emperor’s image or swearing by his divinity.. FF Bruce explained the danger of refusing to go along with the State religion, “...the Christians refusal to countenance such claims, and the language in which they ascribed divine honor to Jesus, could easily be given the appearance of sedition.”

To avoid the appearance of sedition and/or to avoid the horrible pains of a death by torture, Christians raised Caesar above the Lord Jesus Christ and became the Lapsi. In return Ceasar allowed the Lapsi Christians to be free to worship openly. The Lapsi Christians were relegated to be one of the myriad religions in the Roman Empire that were distinct in their worship, but were united in their willingness to concede that Ceasar was the God above all gods.

UNDERSTANDING CAESAR

The name “Caesar” designated the imperial rulers of the Roman Empire. During the period of the early Church, Caesar literally embodied all the power of the government of Imperial Rome because all the decisions that determined what would happen in the Empire emanated from the will of that one person named Caesar. In other words, the things created by government in the Roman Empire happened because Caesar decided those things were to happen, issued an order to that effect, and the entire human apparatus that granted authority to Caesar swung into motion to implement the decision taken by the will of Caesar.

Caesar made government easy to understand. Since Caesar embodied the Roman Empire, to understand that amazingly far flung and enormously diverse thing called the Roman Empire, all you had to do was understand Caesar.

Of course, since Caesars came and went, you had to pay very close attention to whoever was currently Caesar. And it helped to keep a score card. But, still, understanding government during the period of the Roman Empire consisted mostly of understanding Caesar.

CAESAR’S POWER AND CAESAR’S AUTHORITY

In order to understand any government that has ever existed, or will ever exist, it is necessary to clearly perceive the meaning of three words: 1) power; 2) authority; 3) sanction.

There is no word in the English language more important in a discussion of government than the word “sanction.” If you don’t know what the word “sanction” means you can’t possibly understand government, because sanction is the word that describes where the authority of government comes from.

Webster defines sanction as “an authoritative action that confirms or ratifies a decision.” Think about that. Sanction implies that every decision requires an action of some kind that proves the validity of that decision.

Now, in essence, government is nothing more and nothing less than a series of decisions. In other words, all actions in reality that we call actions of government begin with a decision.

The word sanction implies that the decision itself, even a decision of government, requires an action of some kind before that decision can be seen to be authorized: that’s what Webster means by “an authoritative action that confirms or ratifies a decision”.

This idea that decisions have to be confirmed or ratified by an action is as old as government itself. In the days of Caesar, sanction was provided to Caesar’s decision when Caesar pressed his ring into the hot wax that sealed the document on which the decision was inscribed. The symbolism of that action on Caesar’s part was a graphic demonstration of the meaning of the word sanction. When Caesar pressed his ring into the hot wax sealing the document on which his decision was written, Caesar was actually balling up his fist and pushing it into the decision itself. It didn’t take a genius to figure out that Caesar was telling everybody that the power behind the decision written on that particular document was the power symbolized by Caesar’s balled up fist. In other words, Caesar was saying he personally would see to it that any person was beat into submission who disobeyed the decision in the document.

The problem Caesar was dealing with is the age old problem of government: call it the problem of consent. Unless people granted Caesar the right to be the author of decisions that people have a duty to obey, the only way Caesar could get people to obey his decisions was through brute force. That brute force is precisely synonymous with what most people consider "power" but, as this article demonstrates, it is more complicated than that.

Everyone who has ever been involved in government knows government is a meaningless word unless the decisions of government are obeyed by everyone subject to government. Every government that has ever existed on the face of the earth has known there are two ways government can rule: by authority and by brute force.

Let’s examine the way of authority first: Authority is the word that describes the power that people grant government. Notice that the word “authority” is very similar to the word “author.” There is a reason for this similarity: the power we call “authority” is actually the power to be the author of decisions. In other words, the power of authority is the power to author—to write—decisions for other people.

The power of authority is a real power in reality because people consent to obey the decisions made by those to whom authority is granted. The power is seen when government decisions actually move people to do things they did not independently decide— write—for themselves.

Here’s an example of how authority functions: Caesar’s ring pressed a sign into the document containing his decision. Now those who granted Caesar the right to make decisions for them saw Caesar’s insignia as sufficient evidence to obtain their consent to obey Caesar’s decision. The governed consented to the fact that Caesar had the right to be the author of decisions that must be obeyed. Caesar ruled those people by authority.

But what about those who refused to grant Caesar the right to be the author of their decisions, the right of authority? For those people Caesar had a message, the message that lay behind the insignia on Caesar’s ring: the message in Caesar’s balled up fist.

The message in Caesar’s balled up fist had real meaning because Caesar was backed up by real power, the power represented by the brute force of everyone who granted Caesar authority. It was that brute force that was brought to bear on those who refused to concede authority to Caesar. Visualize here the True Christians in the ancient church being torn apart by the teeth of lions in the Coliseum and you will see the power of Caesar I am trying to point out to you.

Sanction is a word that includes in its meaning both of the two possible alternative mechanisms through which government can occur. In other words, a decision has meaningful legal sanction if that decision carries with it both authority and the raw, brute force necessary to force obedience from those who refuse to consent to the authority of the author of the decision.

Are you beginning to see why the concept of sanction is the key to understanding where authority comes from? Without the action taken by Caesar to push his fist into the wax, the decision written on the document would have no recognizable sanction that could enforce obedience from everyone. But because Caesar embodied both authority and raw brute power capable of enforcing the decision taken by the will of Caesar, proper sanction was seen to occur when Caesar pressed his ring into the wax sealing his decisions.

Now that the three critical terms of government are in focus, one question jumps into prominence. It is easy to see how Caesar rules people by power—raw, brute force—but how did Caesar get people to grant him authority?

CAESAR AS GOD

How did Caesar get people to grant him authority? Caesar trained people to treat him like God.

True, Caesar used every institution in the Roman Empire to train people to treat him like God, but he primarily relied on two institutions: the military and religion. The Roman military put the fear of God into those who refused to grant Caesar authority. By impressing the people of the Roman Empire that the will of Caesar would be ruthlessly enforced using any and all means of power available to the mightiest army the world had ever known, people who survived the army’s “ministry” tended to view Caesar with an awe and obedience approaching worship.

Alongside the military, the institutions of religion throughout the Empire acknowledged Caesar as the “most high” God. Emperor worship was the official, “established church” of the Roman Empire. The priestly class in the Roman Empire used all the priestly, ritual, and sacerdotal training techniques to impress Caesar’s divinity on people so that the military option would not be necessary.

HOW CAESAR BECAME “LIKE GOD”

All it took to treat Caesar like God was to grant him authority in matters of religious worship. In other words, once people, no matter whether their motivation be fear, financial gain, or sacerdotal conditioning, granted Caesar the right to dictate what or how or when they worshipped God, Caesar in effect made himself the de facto Special Revelation of God and became in so far as this world is concerned the One, True God on earth.

If you don’t understand the previous paragraph, at least understand that the martyrs of the ancient Church understood it well enough to spend their lives to prevent Caesar, or anyone else in the world, from getting the idea that Christians believed in anyone other than the God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ.

HOW CHRISTIANS TODAY TREAT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT LIKE GOD

With all this in view, now examine the “Churches” created by the great majority of Christians in the United States of America today and you will see why I say the New Lapsi have appeared on the scene

Matthew 5:34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God’s throne: 35Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. 36Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. 37But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.”

In direct violation of the commandment above, most churches today have sworn an oath to the new Caesar.

Who is the new Caesar? The majority that presently rules the federal government of the United States of America, that’s who.

The federal government of the USA is controlled by the will of the majority--even if it is only the majority of the people on the Supreme Court. And that majority exercises more raw brute power in the world than the Roman Empire ever imagined. Using the power of bribery instead of the power of immediate physical fear as was done by the original Caesar, the federal government--the Body of the majority--has brought this nation into slavery to Satan. The great majority of churches in this nation have bowed before the new Caesar and have consented to become legally organized as “creatures of the State.” In other words, they are government churches. For all intents and purposes, they can only do what their government masters authorize. They have “rendered unto Caesar” what is exclusively Christ’s. If you don’t believe that, read on. The evidence is available for all to see.

THE EVIDENCE

The recently deceased Dr. D. James Kennedy, Pastor of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church and nationally known evangelical Christian leader, stated:“The federal government has proved a tremendous impediment to the ongoing work of Christians. In all the laws that they have passed against Christian schools, gagging the church, taxation, and all kinds of things that they have done, they have made it harder for the church to exercise its prerogatives and to preach the gospel.”

He continued, “Take the last presidential election. There were numbers of things that I knew that I was never able to say from the pulpit because if you advance the cause of one candidate or impede the cause of the other you can lose your tax exemption. That would have been disastrous not only for the church, but for our school and our seminary, everything. So you are gagged. You cannot do that. The IRS, a branch of our government, has succeeded in gagging Christians.”

Multiply Kennedy's confession by the millions and you will have an idea of the scope and scale of the New Lapsi problem.

SATAN LEARNS FROM EXPERIENCE

Satan is, like us, bound by time. That is to say, Satan does not know the end from the beginning as God knows it. Satan is forced to learn, like we do, from experience. But Satan has a distinct advantage over us because even though he is bound by space and time just as you and I, he does not have to learn everything all over again each generation as you and I do because Satan does not lose consciousness.

It is easy to see what Satan must have learned from Caesar’s attempt to force Christians to worship a false god, because Satan has in our generation managed to get the vast majority of Christians to do exactly the same thing that the Lapsi of the ancient Church did. And he has done it without a born person’s body being ripped apart, without a born person being eaten by a lion, or having his/her feet set on fire! Using bribery rather than fear as was used in the ancient Church, Satan seduced the New Lapsi into providing the federal government of the United States of America with exactly the same kind of idolatry as the ancient Lapsi provided to Caesar. Yet this entire generation of Christians has virtually no consciousness of having committed exactly the same idolatry as that committed by the original ancient church Lapsi.

Does that tell you Satan learns from the mistakes he made in the past?

CHURCHES BRIBED INTO BECOMING A GOVERNMENT CORPORTATION

The Church, The True Church, is the Bride of Christ. Only one man, one agent of power, or authority, has the right to make decisions that the Bride is obligated to obey. That person is the Husband of the Bride, the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. Above whom there is no other. Should another man attempt to persuade the Bride into, for any reason whatsoever, surrendering her authority to another, that person is a Satanic seducer, a type of the serpent in the garden. For the Bride to surrender to such a Satanic seducer would make her an adulteress—in a word, a whore.

The martyrs in the ancient church--and all True Christians in all ages--understood [understand]these were [are] not matters of empty theological musings. First-century Christians knew there were significant legal and theological ramifications to taking any license from Caesar, taking any piece of paper or any oath granting that Caesar had any priority or right to stand over the Church.

This is why they never incorporated any church. The corporation originated in Roman Civil Law, 250 or more years prior to the birth of Christ. Corporations were the most ubiquitous legal entities in Roman society, used to maintain subservience and government conformance. The corporation is a “creature of the State,” and “the State is the sovereign” of all corporations. For the early church to incorporate would have been a public declaration that Caesar could control the Bride, sovereign even over the Lord Jesus Christ Himself—blasphemy!

There is virtually no difference between modern corporations and those used by ancient Rome. Yet the huge majority of Christian churches have ignored the experience of the ancient Church and made themselves corporations subject in matters of Church teaching to the oversight of the federal government of the United States of America.

WHY HAVE CHURCHES INCORPORATED?

What follows is an example of the dependence being created between individual Christians and the federal government of the USA. Note that the incorporation of churches is only one example of the myriad ways the federal government is bribing Christians to become the New Lapsi.

A document called the “Church Financial Leaders Manual” from “The Evangelical Covenant Church” is a prototype of similar training manuals in virtually every mainline Protestant and Catholic Church in the USA. It explains Church incorporation this way:“The Covenant strongly recommends that all churches be incorporated. We require new churches to become incorporated before receiving any official denominational recognition. Incorporation is a simple and inexpensive procedure that has several advantages: It helps protect the members of your church from being personally sued over an accident or debt that should be the church’s responsibility.
• It makes it easier for the church to buy, sell and own real estate, operate bank accounts and engage in other business transactions.

HOW TO TELL IF YOU BELONG TO A TWO-MASTER CHURCH

Over fifty percent of the population in this nation attends a Protestant church at least occasionally; another ten percent attends a Roman Catholic church. Yet this same population demographic has overseen a near total dismantlement of the influence of the law of God in this nation within this generation.

Do you know why the vast numbers of Christian congregations in the USA do virtually nothing to impede the rampant progress of evil in this nation but instead actively cast out members who rock the boat in this society? The answer is simple: The evidence below proves that the vast majority of “Christian” congregations in this nation today serve two masters.

There is a very simple, one-step test you can apply to discern whether the church you belong to is a Two Master Church.

Find out whether your church is registered with the Internal Revenue Service of the federal government of the United States of America as a 501(c)(3)corporation. If so, your church serves two masters as surely as your eyes see these words.

THE POWER OF A CONTRACT TO BIND BODY, SPIRIT, SOUL AND CONSCIENCE

According to Black’s Law Dictionary, Seventh Edition, a contract is an “agreement between two or more parties creating obligations that are enforceable or otherwise recognizable at law.” In short, a contract is an oath—a sworn oath—promising the power and authority of the government to do such and such a thing in return for such and such a thing.

If your church has entered into a contract with the government of the United States of America, then your church has sworn an oath to the government of this nation. Whether you like it or not, or even whether you believe it or not, that contract makes your church a government church, not a Christian Church.

Government churches are obligated by a legally binding contract to do, not what God says do in Holy Scripture, but what the churches have contracted with the federal and state governments to do in order to obtain the financial benefits offered by the state and federal governments. The evidence in the following paragraph proves that regardless of how much they claim to be a Bible-believing, Born Again, Holy Ghost filled church, any Internal Revenue Service 501(c)(3) incorporated church in the USA has signed a contract that prevents that church from obeying God in one or another world-changing and life-changing way. In other words, those churches are impotent to resist Satan in this generation because, no matter what they want to believe, the facts make it clear those churches have been seduced by the promise of financial benefits to avoid doing the very things that can actually effectively resist Satan’s plans in this world today.

The Terms of the Contract

IRS 501 (c)(3) status comes with a contract that prevents the government church from taking a stand for any particular legislation or any particular political candidate in any election in the United States of America. The precise wording from the IRS regulation follows: IRS Regulation 501 (c) (3). The organization will not, as a substantial part of its activities, attempt to influence legislation (unless it elects to come under the provisions allowing certain lobbying expenditures) or participate to any extent (emphasis mine) in a political campaign for or against any candidate for public office...“Political activity. If any of the activities whether or not substantial) of your organization consist of participating in, or intervening in, any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for public office, your organization will not qualify for tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3). Such participation or intervention includes the publishing or distributing of statements...Whether your organization is participating or intervening, directly or indirectly, in any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for public office depends upon all of the facts and circumstances of each case. Certain voter education activities or public forums conducted in a non-partisan manner may not be prohibited political activity under section 501(c)(3), while other so-called voter education activities may be prohibited...If your organization is uncertain as to the effect of its voter education activities, you should request a letter ruling from the Internal Revenue Service. Send the request to:

Actually hear the words in the government regulation above and you will find that every congregation of Christians in this nation that has allowed their church to be incorporated has signed a contract saying that God does not want the pastor to teach, nor the congregation to vote, as a Body, for any specific candidate, or any specific legislation in this nation.

Most Christians will not allow themselves to hear what has been done because the contract with the government is a direct violation of 1 Cor 1:10 KJV: “Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.”

So much for God's Word overruling Caesar. The "two-master" action has been taken whether Christians decide to ignore it or not. A Lapsi by another name is still a Lapsi! Or as Forrest Gump would say, "Evil is as evil does." Those who enter into IRS contracts with the government make precisely the same relationship with the government as Caesar demanded from the Christians of the ancient Church. Christians who make those sacrifices to the government become the New Government Church Lapsi.

Instead of teaching Christians to speak with one voice as God’s Word through the Apostle Paul clearly commands, pastors and teachers in effect teach precisely the opposite. Their actions taken when they entered into an evil contract with the government prove they think God wants everybody to do what is right in their own eyes rather than find out the Mind of Christ on the matter at hand and implement the Will of God as a group. The terms of the contract signed by a government church are clear: if the leadership of the government church—the pastor or the teacher—is unclear about how far they can go in what they can teach, they are required to write the federal government address quoted above and get prior approval for their message or they risk losing their place at the government feeding trough.

Is there anyone who can deny the actual world-changing consequences of the churches of this nation making an ungodly pact like that?

Over ninety percent of the churches in the USA have made that ungodly pact!

So what’s the point?

That single material fact explains exactly why the Christians in this generation have been absolutely powerless to stop the greatest overthrow of the influence of the law of God in this world in the history of the Christian church. We were powerless because we sold our liberty to resist for a place at the government feeding trough. Snort, snort.

You scoff?

Review 1 Cor. 1:10 quoted above. Anyone who looks closely at how hard the Apostle Paul was trying to get the church at Corinth to speak as one voice, anyone who sees how hard he was working to get that local church to be able to view reality with the singleminded point of view of the Mind of Christ, then looks at the direct contradiction the pastors and teachers and parishioners of this nation create when they sign a contract with the government like the one above to remain silent on matters of foundational political importance, will see the horrible travesty done to the work of the Apostles in this nation in this generation.

Furthermore, if they’ve got access to the Spirit of Truth--Lord Holy Ghost--at all, they will see the actual root cause from which the desecration of God’s creation and the legalized slaughter of His children in this generation has grown.

God’s People Made A Pact With The Devil

While I’ve got you reading these words I’m going to do everything I can to ensure you see my point. I said as clearly as words can say that the contract with the government that has turned the vast majority of Christian congregations in this nation into government churches is the root cause of why the Law of God and the work of the Living God is blasphemed and mocked in the generation at hand.

Why would such a contract have such a devastating effect?

The Lord Jesus Christ made it perfectly clear that His people have a choice to make: they can either serve Him or they can serve Mammon (Satan by another name). Mat 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Mat 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

SUMMARY

Let me summarize by saying that only a blind self-serving pretend Christian would deny that this generation has been seduced by government financial benefits to let Mammon come in the door of virtually every congregation of Christians in this nation. The moment that happened the Holy Spirit began to pack up to leave those churches in exactly the same way the Holy Spirit left the Lapsi in the ancient Church even as He poured out His grace and power on the remnant who refused to treat Caesar as if he was God.

Don’t be surprised if virtually every Christian you know is quick to deny the accusations I make here. Don’t be surprised because the Holy Spirit is not with those people. As soon as the churches of this generation let Mammon come in the churches, the Holy Spirit of God was grieved and quenched in those seduced churches. Until they repent, the New Lapsi will not have the Holy Spirit. They can flail their hands in the air, and grunt and snort about the name of Jesus, but the Spirit of Truth will not abide with them. Such people will say anything but the truth when confronted with their own unconfessed sin of selling, like Esau, their obligations to God to the federal government of the United States of America for the modern equivalent of a bowl of porridge.

It is impossible to overstate the importance of this message about the New Lapsi. “It’s impossible to have religious freedom in any nation where churches are licensed to the government,” said Congressman George Hansen.

It is sad to say but if you are going to be a True Christian, for the foreseeable future you are going to have to look high and low to find Christians who are not Lapsi.

But those Christians are out there! Scattered across the United States of America are tens of thousands of people who have not inserted their face in the government feeding trough, have not bowed their knee to this present Baal.

Old Paths Baptist Perhaps there are many congregations and some denominations who have not become lapsi. If you know of such congregations or denominations, please tell us about them so we can list them in this column. * NOTE: If you are willing to allow the appearance that few Christian congregation in the USA have refused to become a government church, and will not contact us to help us identify those who have refused government contracts, then you demonstrate the lackadaisacal inertia that personifies even those Christians who are not government contracted Lapsi. The Creator's Rights Party

Christian rejection of The Creator's Rights Party leaves no alternative but embedding in the secular parties like the Democratic and Republican parties and the myriad other secular parties--such as the Constitution Party--all of which do nothing but aggrandize the individuals who make up the secular parties, and have no intention of serving the One, True God, The Creator of all creation. No wonder the Christians in the USA are being seen to be nothing more than the New Lapsi, false Christians who have sold the Lord Jesus Christ for money and all it brings.

Christians do not have to reject The Creator's Rights Party. When faced with the alternative of becoming the New Lapsi, or supporting The Creator's Rights Party, True Christians will support The Creator's Rights.

But, sad to say, you can count the number of True Christians in the United States on one hand.

It is most revealing that God required ten obedient servants to refrain from destroying Sodom. That is why we work to find more than a handful of members of The Creator's Right Party.
